Lisa Devaney Self-Portrait in Granny's Bathroom
During the Christmas 2007 holidays I stayed in a rural country cottage in Scotland with my husband's Granny. I enjoyed being there a lot, and decided to take photos of simple things I found around the place -- where Granny has lived for about 50 years. I used my 'spy camera' which is what I consider my mobile phone camera to be. For amusement, I started clowning it up in Granny's bathroom mirror and snaping photos. I didn't like the first experiments, using the flash, so I tried out the setting called Twighlight Landscape, and I liked the warm lighting and colors better, so I kept a series of photos from the bathroom mirror sessions.
