I was rushing to the Olympic Stadium to take photos while the place was still burning due to an explosion that took place that morning. I jumped into a stranger's car and, when we reached this crossroad where the Police was diverting the traffic, I saw a young person, waiting by his bicycle to be released back onto the main road. He looked at us with a numb face and I clicked the shutter. Although the person is not me, the way I edited the image reflects exactly the way I’ve been feeling ever since graduation, while I'm trying to make it into the British mass-media: it's like there are so many things happening around me but I am reduced to the paralysing state of waiting to be allowed to prove that I belong to the "high street". And London can act like the fake fog: creating uncertainty and placing good vibrations in the background because they don't own the mainstream approach. I often feel that I’m watching myself from behind a window and I see myself waiting to allow life to happen.
