To rate a Photo:

The architecture was in a state of obvious decay, which is similar with Romania's present social state: the young people, such as Tudor, are leaving the country to find a better living in Europe and the USA. The people are being more and more impoverished by the taxes and the well-mannered behaviour was destroyed by 50 years of communism, which did a brilliant job in destroying the society's moral backbone. A massive number of those who hope for a decent living look for it outside Romanian borders. The country is not only experiencing a brain drain, but also a work force gigantic leak. The cracked architecture contrasts the suave feelings conveyed by Tudor's playing the violin. I was trying to create a metaphor, with him playing a farewell song to his birth country and a ‘nice to make your acquaintance’ tune for the known-to-be-glamorous London. I enhanced the clouds in Photoshop as to make them sculptural in order for them to become o piece of the image's architecture

This photo has been digitally retouched.

The image was desaturated; the contrast - increased, the exposure - selectvely adjusted. Then I applied a warm tone filter and I reduced the image size. I pixelated the sky, as visible pixels often point a decreasing in quality, which will physically add to the DECAY theme.
