I was fascinated by this shop front that was positioned in between houses on a part residential street off of a main road in Bournemouth. Its appearance now leaves you wondering if it still is a shop or someone’s home? The net curtains hide its secrets! This image was composed simply, in order to show the entire shop front in an uncomplicated way. The decay element I feel is shown not only through the dishevelled paint work, but the look of abandonment with the lack of shop display in the window.

The saturation was altered as the red was slightly bleached out.
