Gullane Beach- Long exposure effect

Taken from Gullane Beach near Edinburgh. Looks kinda like abroad due to the processing, certainly not Scotland in August

This photo has been digitally retouched.

Tried to replicate a long exposure effect in Photoshop, as my camera won't allow me to do long enough exposures in bright light. Shot taken in early afternoon and filter added to give colour in sky. Copied the wave and added as a new layer then reduced opacity and smudged the surf.

beautiful tranquil photograph..you're right about it looking foreign anyway, i thought it coulda been iceland or someplace in scandinavia..
