I wanted a photograph of me doing what I love to do - take photos. My idea was to focus on the camera and have me "hiding" behind it. I like black and white and the almost high-key effect of this image works well I think.
This photo has been digitally retouched.
I increased the exposure to accentuate the light background. I also flipped the image so that the writing was the right way around as the photo was originally taken in a mirror.
