It had to reflect my musical side and it had to be eye-catching. Big eyes and the violin seemed a good combination when joined with a tripod and the cautious light of late afternoon - and a new 430EX flash.
This photo has been digitally retouched.
A bit of dodging and burning to bring out the contrast, particularly around the eyes. Levels and colours adjusted in curves, cross-processed.
