I am a really laid back person and I love the outdoors, so I thought I'd photograph myself in the woods or somewhere similar. I went to the woods near my home where I used to go bike rides n stuff when I was a kid. The rubble and orange fencing in the background is a demolition site where a local cotton mill was knocked down recently. I figured that the combination of the wilderness and the demolition reflected my personality in a sense that I am quite quiet and laid back like the woodland but my actual life is much more chaotic, being in college all week, working the weekend and seeing my mates in between I never really get a chance to relax. I took this with a Canon 30D with sigma 10-20mm lens on tripod, jessops 360AFD flashgun with diffuser on light stand and TTL off-camera cable to trigger. Self timer used to release shutter.
