  Thankyou. I think I could have cropped the top more but I think it works. Swans really do the work for you. I found it was a case of shuffling around and finding the best position. This swan was looking up at the wall at something which I found interesting because of the shape of the neck...and then he attacked me ;-/

  I was taught at an early age not to mess with swans. The dark background lends some mystery to the shot so that it is about more than the swan - even if we can see him gearing up to attack you!
