I admit I nicked this idea! (Should I ever admit to that?!) It was on an album cover of an artist I really like and I went away to try to emulate it. I was very pleased (and pleasantly surprised) at the results as it was a bit of an experiment. It was taken in a hallway and luckily the available light from the glass front door has added a little bit of dimension - it possibly could have looked a little flat without. I played around with the settings but ultimately, I had to pick the shot that I felt was composed the best.

Very nice exposure, I like the light coming from the window on the left. Anyway, the breif says take an iconic image so dont worry about 'nicking' an idea, that's where most of us (including myself) failed the breif, so well done to you for that.

I'm sure that some of my comments have gone missing; I thought that I had commented on this. If it has been done before, I don't recall seeing it and this one is done on its own terms and works delightfully.

I like this, the light in the ceiling gives the image depth and the camera in the hand gives it honesty. I would like to see a version without the camera in hand to compare the difference, great shot all the same though very chice`.

I like this shot, simple, clean and shows who you are. Nicked? Surely you should say you were 'influenced by"? :-)
