Village Beauty
visit: www.mitchellkphotos.com This girl was a diamond in the rough in her small village in Kutchh, Gujarat. When I asked to photograph her, she was shy, but everyone cheered her on and encouraged her. She stood in front of the camera, I think she knew that she was special and understood why I wanted to take her picture. Between her shy laughter and hesitant looks the wind played with her hair and she gave me that intense glance, mature beyond her years. I pressed the shutter.
