It is interesting that you have chosen to keep this one in colour: to achieve 'contrast' there must have been a temptation to convert to b/w. However, the near monochrome of this, with the dark background, gives an almost classic contrast of light and dark. A very elegant shot of the swan.

Amazing shot! Love the black background - makes the swan (and the reflection) stand out so dynamically. I like that it is in colour as the orange beak is a nice highlight. Wonderfully captured action shot.

As the theme is black and white I wonder whether there's any other colours in this photo that you could take out such as the background has a hint of green I feel and could be darkened. This is a wonderful photo and I love the fact you have been able to capture the bird in motion.

A very well timed shot. Me being a wildlfe nut,I just love wildlife in motion. I live in an innercity area so I don't get to see much of this,So I say a big thank you to you. GLENN
