I like the furtive look and the idea that he's adding graffiti but feeling guilty about it. Pictorially though, my one thought is that this shot lacks contrast! Also, congratulations on the win.

You're right and I've check the original file and that has good contrast and saturation. However, that file is Adobe RGB and I think what's happened is that it's converted to Srgb. So, I'm going to up load a second version that I've converted to Srgb and made the relevant adjustments to. Hopefully that will look better. I'd love you feedback and thanks for mentioning the contrast.

Hello Liz, the updated image on Flickr carries a really livid green (that's good) that makes the graffiti stand out on the wall and the man stand out against the background. I think it makes it a bit more "biblical" to have him drawing in darkness and out of the light. Pushing the contrast that little bit has added a further dimention to the shot. Excellent. P
