I am and i do surter from Diclaxer which as a disabilty is a hard one for me and other peolpe who sufer from this disabilty. And i think that this is why i have always been drawen to curting the shorts of art works that i have and still do mark. I gow up in the South west in the 1970s and 1980s where my pernts where send there becouse of the thouth , that thay where in the armed faces. And so thay where always on the move and so you did not know if you would be in any one plaec for to long. And i think that this is why i have always had a love of landscapes from an earty age, as it was the only thing that did not move. And i think that i was drawen to it because of the thouth , that i was trying to hold on to some thing that did not move. But i think that this love that i had for the land at that time Not only come from gowing up in Devon,But from the thouth thay both of my pernts where from difent parts of the U.K, with my mother coming form Northen Ireland. And my frather coming from Scotland and it is for these resons why i am drawen to these tipes of landscapes in the work that i do. As it is a remainder of a way of life and place that i am drawen tow. And as we would send ever year going over to where my mother is from,as a child for hoildays this is why i have a love the these tipes of seens that i was ues to . i alway for a short time did live with my Grand Mother and here Sister in Northen Ireland where i was a body. And my mother was having to move from one place to a naver, On here own where my Frather was away at sea. and it is from this that i think that my love for that part of the world was stafented by being there for that short time in my life. There are other things that i think me have a love for landscapes like the thouth that i also find out that on my mother side of the failmy i have been told that thay uesed not more then a century ago own land that thay had to give up. And even i naver know these reilfes i do flee that ,that thouth has afairted thay way that i look at Landscapes and my relateship that i have with them. One of the other things that ithink afect this love of landscapes that i have comes from the thouth that i had a trin set when i was a child that was given to me by my father. And i offic thouth about building the short of seener that you could buy for that train set that you could buy like the trees, buildings and other things that you could buy for it. So that you could build your own enverment for it to move around it. And even tho i did not build this world i think that this is one of the resons why i have always been drawen to the world around me. And i devered this love that i have with the nuterily world and the style of work that i do Sinec i life shcool in 1992 i have been on alot of Art courtes . And i have gined not just the the qufiecasions that i got form doing these courts. But the iders and tequens that comes from doing these shorts of courers that have hoped me to do the work that i do.

I am frist and for most a Landscape painter and i have always thouth of the photos that i tlake. As some think that i would do , so that i could ues them to soport the paintings that i do , ever in the some way that you would ues a skech book to be uesed at a later date from the pice that i am doing. Or in some cast i have uesed the photographs that i have tlaken to from part of the painting that i have done. So would say that my photos do not i think have any influences at all. or that i am awere of, as i still see my self as a painter and not a photography i would say that the work that i do tlake its influences from the painters who work that i flee that i am influened by. But having sayed that i can be influenced by any think that i see around me. And even tho most of the photographs that i tlake are like the paintings that i do are landscaped baiecd piecs. I can and do some times do photos of other things tow. But i am and i have always been drawn back to landscapes. And it is to the landscapes and buildings that i see around me that i am drawen tow.
I have been tlakenig photography ever sinec i was a child and i have always enjoyed tlakeing. And playing around with photos to mark photographs that can be uesed in the other things that i do like in Printmarking. And by uesing then as paintings where by i can paint into the photos. So that thay can look very difentent form how thay started out. And do other things with photographs like having one seen coming tho the frist photo that i tlake which can only be done with an old tipe of cerimer. Then with the tipe of cerimer that i now serm to ues more and more these days.
