Thank you for your kind comment, Joy. I'm a big movie junkie but have only heard of Kieslowski's trilogy and have actually never watched any of his films. But you have definitely woken my curiosity so I shall try to get my hands on Three Colour’s Blue!

Hello Joy, I've really enjoyed watching the series so far, I think you should get them all doing cyanotypes though! Im really sorry I missed your workshop at Nottingham Trent University last year, it was at the end of my third year and I was rushing around going mad with my exhibition, I know alot of my peers felt the same way, please let me know if you are thinking of doing another one at Trent and I'll sneak in the darkroom while Im still in Nottingham. I really admire your work.

Hi Joy, thanks for your nice comments about my work. I agree about the break in the background - I was not in a studio just a bedroom and was using makeshift backgrounds made out of sheets. Don't know the work of Manuel Alvarez Bravo but will look it up later. Thanks again, Karen.
