This was a chance photo that I felt I had to capture. The irony of a car loosing control and hitting a garden wall, narrowly missing the camera activated speed limit sign. The local press have now used it to improve road safety in the area.

I realy like the car crash photograph. The 'slow down' sign in the background definatly adds something almost ironic to the photo. Overall this is a brilliant photo in my opinion.

Thanks for your encouragement. There are a lot of photographers on flickr that are more focused on being critical of technical ability, than consideration for composition and inginuity.

My Favourite Style

To try and capture natural beauty in people and objects without trying to influence a situation.

My Influences

There is beauty in everything ... it is said that it is in the eye of the beholder. I do enjoy taking what appears boring at first glance, and try to find an different angle or lighting, close up or distance ... to bring out the beauty of a person or object.

My Inspiration

Life inspires me. The beauty of creation. People inspire me. Boring objects intrigue me. My family and friends encourage me (they don't always understand why I feel the need to take a 'picture of a cup on a table' for example).
