I am interested in Medium and Large Format and photography and 60's plastic cameras. I love the inverted image on the ground glass screen and the uncertainty of the results of the wonderfully affordable range of toy cameras. Diana, Holga and Fujipet to name a few. I love developing large format film with Pyro and contact printing with Platinum I particularly love the voyage of discovery.

Hi J de B, Thank you for your comment. I fear [and hope] that I will alway remain a novice, discovery and learning are so enjoyable. I just need make sure I see with my heart, then surely my eye and therefore camera will follow?

My immediate environment, light, shadows, mood, emotion and the sum of the those variables upon me at the time of the pic. Jealousy is a big factor, I see so many other talented photographers work and think "wow"! and feel both humbled and jealous simultaneously!

My inner self, when I am in space to listen and see ... and act upon its distant voice. It is the sound of reason and unreasoning. And of course many talented artists and photographers [to numerous to list] leave a library of inspirational images
