My photography is based around beauty in the banal. Looking at everyday objects or scenes and capturing them in there mundane state to bring out a beauty that we would not normally expect to see. I have been massivly influenced by the likes of Stephen Shore, William Eggleston, Martin Parr, The Bechers, Mark Power, Dan Holdsworth and Rut Blees Luxemburg among others.
At the moment Im finding that everday life are becoming very influential. Looking at how the world we live in is constantly changing. Also I feel it is extemly important to consantly visit exhibitions to keep up to date with contempory photography. Recently I visited the Paris photo fair where I saw works by many different photographers incuding Mark Power.
