thanks for the kind comments on my photos and for taking the time. I especially like your music photo and i think this is the strongest image. unfortunately i am not at all technical with the camera and only take photos from the heart! I can't offer any suggestions to improve the image except to say it simply works. dawn

Anyways, I'd never heard of the Piss Christ before and had to look it up on Google. I see what you mean, though I only think they're similar in execution. Andres Serrano had a whole different intention ;-)

Very good to hear from you - it is odd how little is known in UK of the Piss Christ scandal ( I came across it in an Art Theory Book in a discussion of body stuff in Art) I looked at Dawn's work and commented as best I could before reading this : and am grateful to her to have been able to. Thanks indeed Dave - anonymous marking down is a disease on all photo sites I guess - it makes it difficult to be honest for fear of blind retaliation: ratings don't count but comments do - and all visits are very welcome! thanks!! i was gutted when i read the comments about first version as i am so particular (but emotional) with my work, though i could see what you meant regarding the back ground. i just wanted to try and experiment with angle, light etc. dawn

hi finally posted some new images.. emotional as always!! been really busy at home with our family,and i'm at the end of A level photography(only did it to learn how to develop and print but really enjoyed it) and have final exam and exhibition. still not got a landscape !
