I love to get up big hills; I love raw nature, with its biting unforgiving elements. I love finding beauty in the seemingly normal, I love to push myself just that bit harder and I love to learn. I’m addicted to the feeling that creativity gives me: eyes widen, distractions dissolve, hart quickens, I smile without realizing it and everything speed up… I feel optimistic again. Nature is VERY important to me! I feel humble surrounded by it, feel at one with the elements around me and its beauty regularly dissolves my worries. I all too often, despair at “mans” abuse of nature, in the so call “pursuit of progress, greed and selfishness”, but optimistically feel humbled with its omnipresence! It has a deep power that we need to respect. It is ‘us’ that are at ‘its’ mercy! What you see here is a selection of images, from ‘this year’ that have special meaning to me.
