Letting Go - the abstract world

By deliberately taking images out of focus, it is possible to get away from photographing a fixed object or scene and much more towards capturing pure light, colour and emotion.

By removing the 'focus', it becomes possible to use the whole picture space and everything within it rather than simply the focused object of attention (usually a central object). The images produced should work on a much more emotional level. To take photographs like this, try not to think about the rules of photography and how a picture 'should' technically be constructed and instead photograph emotionally and instinctively. Show us your abstract world!

Yeah it's a real shame that people have stopped giving feedback and stopped uploading and taking part.

It's not just the feedback. It has become very slow and difficult to get photos on here. And when they are finally put on loads are put on together so that photos start off about 3 or 4 pages back so they can get completely over-looked. Also the point of this was to give pointers on how the photos could be made better but all we are getting atm is people saying nice shot to all the great photos, a lot of patting on the back and ignoring those of us who need some good ideas and advice on how to get our photos to be better.

t5he problem is that i feel there are too many photographs being submitted. therefore feedback is slow and then people get bored and cannot be bothered.

Also remember it is exam time! I have been busy working on my photography exame work and final images so not had the time to submit. I am sure others are also busy with their photography exams, A2 , AS, and other levels. Karen
