Black & White Photography

Black and white images are often more powerful and dramatic than those in colour as if by removing one layer of reality it allows us to see others more clearly. The challenge in this project is to focus on form and composition by removing one pillar of photography - colour.

To keep things even and fair the images submitted should be black and white monochrome, and so not colour images of black and white subjects, no subjective colouring, and not even toning e.g. sepia images. For one this makes things fairer so that the colour images don't stand out, but also it should make the project gallery quite striking!
